To request an item through interlibrary loan, you must first register with Harrison Libraries' ILLiad @ H system.
Registration allows us to verify that you're a current student or employee at the University of Hartford and an authorized
user of ILLiad @ H. Any future changes to your name, address, phone number, department,
or status can be updated within ILLiad @ H by clicking Update Profile, found under the Profile option on the Main Menu.
During registration, you'll be asked to choose a username and password that will enable you to log on to the
ILLiad @ H system and securely access information about your current and past requests. You can choose anything you like, though
we recommend that you follow good security practice and choose a password different from those you use to access other systems. Your
password will be encrypted so that it's known only by you.
WARNING CONCERNING COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS
The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of articles or other reproductions of copyrighted materials.
Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish an article or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that
the article or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research". If a user makes a request for, or later uses, an article
or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use", that user may be liable for copyright infringement.
This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
To accept the terms and conditions above and those listed in our FAQ, please press the "First Time Users Click Here" button to continue to the registration form.
