Pressing the button below indicates that you acknowledge and agree to all of the terms and conditions given in using
ILLiad @ H, including the copyright statement on this page.
To request an item through interlibrary loan, you must first register with Harrison Libraries' ILLiad @ H system.
Registration allows us to verify that you are a current student or employee at the University of Hartford and an authorized
user of ILLiad @ H. Any future changes to your name, address, phone number, department,
or status can be updated within ILLiad @ H by clicking Update Account on the Main Menu.
During registration, you will be asked to choose a username and password that will enable you to log on to the
ILLiad @ H system and securely access information about your current and past requests.
Choose anything you like: your name, a favorite hobby or sports team, an alphanumeric code, etc.
If the username you select is already in use, the system will prompt you to come up with a different one.
If at any time you forget your username, you can contact the Interlibrary Services office for assistance.
We recommend that you follow good security practice and choose a password different than those you use to access
other systems. ILLiad @ H will automatically encrypt your password so that it will remain secure and be known only
by you. If at any time you forget your password, you can reset it online by clicking the Reset Password link on the ILLiad @ H logon page.
WARNING CONCERNING COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS
The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or
other reproductions of copyrighted materials.
Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other
reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any
purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research". If a user makes a request for, or later uses a photocopy
or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use", that user may be liable for copyright infringement.
This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the
order would involve violation of copyright law.
Before registering, please read the ILLiad @ H FAQ for additional information about the ILLiad @ H
interlibrary loan system. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact the Interlibrary Services office.
